The 180 hitch has a chrome-plated double-sided tow ball, so switching sizes is a breeze. Tow up to 8,000 lbs with the 2" ball or up to 12,500 lbs with the 2-5/16" ball.

Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features a chrome plated 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank and simply flip over the platform, so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Slide it back up along the shank to the desired height and reinsert the dual pins, hitch up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers. A dual-sided hitch ball with a 1-7/8" and a 2" hitch ball (WS96RR- sold separately) is also available.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Weigh Safe 180 trailer hitch with two-inch shank. Now, this 180 hitch is going to slide into your two-inch hitch receiver and it's going to give you a two-inch and 2 5/16 inch double-sided tow ball, making switching tow ball sizes very easy. This is also going to give you a four-inch drop when you have it in this position. And then when you flip this over, you're gonna get a five-inch rise and then you're gonna have a incremental adjustment of about one inch. And this is going to give you the height adjustability so you can tow trailers of different heights with the same vehicle.
This has a gross towing weight with 2 5/16 inch hitch ball of 12,500 pounds and with the two-inch hitch ball 8,000 pounds. And then you're gonna have a maximum tongue weight of 1,500 pounds. This hitch is constructed of aircraft-grade aluminium, giving you superior strength and durability. The solid block construction is going to give you greater strength than some hollowed steel options, but it's also going to maintain a light weight. And this is of course gonna be rust proof.
It's gonna have a clean finish that's going to stand the test of time. Our hitch balls are chrome-plated and this does feature a a dual pin slider lock that's going to make adjusting the height and switching the tow ball sizes very easy. So I'm gonna remove the included rubber cover here. This cover does protect the lock core from dust and debris and things like that. But let me give you a brief demonstration just how easy this is going to be to adjust.
So I'm gonna use one of the tube keys that's included here and unlock this. And so that's going to allow me then to just remove these pins here. So this lock is plated steel with aluminum pins. So the housing is going to resist corrosion. And so as you can see, this is gonna be very easy to adjust.
And then if you want to switch the ball sizes, you're just gonna flip this over and drop that back into place. So you're not going to be struggling at the back of your vehicle to get the height or the ball size that you need. And then let me just slide those back in and the pin slide in very easily, which is nice. So you're gonna be able to get the adjustment and the ball size that you need in virtually no time at all. So as I mentioned, two keys are included. I'm just gonna line this up here again. And in case you we inchesre wondering about some measurements, let me see if I can give those to you. So I'm gonna go ahead and line it up this way here. So I'm gonna give you the measurement from the first hitch pin hole, the center of our first hitch pin hole to the center of our ball. So lining that up there, as you can see on center, we're right at 8.5 inches. And then moving to that second hitch pin hole, so from the center of that hole to the center of the ball, about 9 5/8 inches. And the hitch pin hole diameter is 5/8 of an inch. And then if you we inchesre wondering about the measurement from the center of that second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, right at about 1 7/8 inches, this is V5 and J684 certified. So this is very well designed. I think it's gonna hold up really well for you, I think it's gonna look great for many years to come and give you that adjustability that you're looking for. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
